About Queensland Tutors

Queensland Tutors grew out of a love for education. Director Rob Stewart’s mother was a primary school teacher for over 50 years and taught him more than any teacher ever could.

The one-on-one personal time spent together when he was a child meant that when he started school, he could already count, spell and write. Towards the end of her career, she worked as a CRT or replacement teacher. Therefore, some weeks she may have worked at five different schools. This allowed her to see the many holes in the education system first- hand, namely, lack of resources for the teachers and lack of time to spend with students who really needed the help.

 

Today Queensland Tutors has clients from prep age upwards from all over Queensland. Not only do we teach school-aged children, but adults as well in a variety of subjects. We also hold a Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and conduct vocational learning to adults.
